Overview
This was another attempt at preparing a three statement model projection, this time balancing cash.
Please note this does not utilise a life of mine model, I’m either using growth rates and ratios based on historical financials or making up certain assumptions to have numbers to play with.
Takeaways:
- Iterated on structure and layout. I made it a lot simpler given I had a better idea of what I’m doing.
- I had the realisation in preparing this one that I had been simply following whatever statement structure the entity presented in their financials. I realised this probably doesn’t matter too much depending on the goal of the model, as long as it reaches the intended output.
